Kravet names new EVP of contract sales

Kravet announced the addition of Robert M. Duban as EVP of contract sales, overseeing all efforts in contract sales and marketing and new business development. Duban plans to focus specifically on expanding the current market share of Kravet Contract, which currently places products in hotels and businesses all over the world.

Duban’s most recent role prior to joining Kravet was as EVP of sales for Covington Fabric and Design. He previously served as senior vice president of residential, commercial and contract sales for the Robert Allen Group and as territory manager for F. Schumacher & Co.

With a background in finance and marketing, Duban brings with him a network of professional contacts as well as an eye for quality and design in the hospitality industry. The appointment is effective immediately.

Kravet, established in 1918, is one of the industry leaders in the “to the trade” home furnishings industry. This fifth generation family business distributes fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, trimmings, carpets and accessories. It represents brands and designers from all over the world. Kravet owns Kravet Fabrics, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils, Groundworks and GP & J Baker.
