L.A.M.B. designs new uniforms for Rande Germber's lounges at W Hotels

Nightlife entrepreneurs Rande Gerber and Scott Gerber, founders of the Gerber Group and developers of internationally acclaimed restaurants and lounges, have partnered with L.A..M.B., Gwen Stefani’s clothing line, to design chic new uniforms for the Gerber bars located at W Hotels throughout the country.  L.A.M.B. has created uniforms specifically for female staff, bringing a sexy addition to the existing dynamic atmosphere of style and sophistication at every Gerber venue.  The uniforms will begin appearing at the Gerber lounges this fall.

Widely recognized for her eclectic personal style and natural elegance, Gwen Stefani created L.A.M.B., an acronym for Love Angel Music Baby, out of her love of design. With this newest design for the Gerber bars at W Hotels, L.A.M.B. has taken Gwen's concept and added 60's seam details with an 80's asymmetrical silhouette. The black dress is made out of matte jersey fabric and has a very sleek hand feel.  A side vent detail creates an additional flow when the women are walking.

“I was very excited that the Gerber Group and W Hotels asked L.A.M.B. to design their new uniforms,” said Gwen Stefani.  “I wanted to design a super cute dress that I would be excited to have in my own closet and approached it in the same way I think about my clothing for a tour.  We’ve designed a sexy and comfortable outfit for these women to wear out on their own stage every night.”

The new uniforms from L.A.M.B. will complement the signature trademark of a Gerber Group lounge:  a distinctive atmosphere created through cutting-edge design, fashionable clientele and signature cocktails.  The new look will appear at 15 Gerber bars located at W Hotels in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, New Orleans and New York.

“The Gerber Group and W Hotels have enjoyed a long and successful collaboration and we are both known for a cutting-edge look, feel and design,” said Rande Gerber, founder of Gerber Group. “Partnering with the sexy, stylish and sophisticated Gwen Stefani seemed like a perfect match.”

“Fashion is a passion of the W Hotels brand and we continue to seek innovative and unexpected opportunities to infuse style and design into the W guest experience,” said Phil McAveety, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “We are thrilled to be working with Gwen Stefani and look forward to unveiling the designer uniforms she has created exclusively for our Gerber Group bars located at W Hotels throughout the country.”
