Lane Hospitality invests heavily in properties

Hotel management and ownership company Lane Hospitality is about to complete the multimillion-dollar renovation and transformation of several of its properties located in New Jersey, North Carolina and Michigan. "As the market recovers, we want to maintain our properties as leaders in their markets and impressive representatives of their respective brands," said Bill DeForrest, president and CEO of Lane Hospitality. Lane projects nearing or having completed major renovations or transformations include: the 192-room Crowne Plaza Clark, N.J., being transformed into a Holiday Inn to debut April 2; the 146-room Courtyard by Marriott near Duke University in Durham, N.C, has completed major renovations; and Hilton Hotel - Grand Rapids, Mich., has completed the last phase of its $4-million renovation.

The debuts consist of a Hampton Inn, a Tapestry Collection and a Homewood Suites and total 410 rooms.
