LaSalle buys San Francisco's Villa Florence

LaSalle Hotel Properties acquired the hotel for $67.2 million in cash, the latest in a string of upscale acquisitions for the REIT. The 182-room Villa Florence, located in San Francisco’s Union Square district, was built in 1908 and underwent a $10 million renovation in 2008.
