Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa opens in Western India

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, opened Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa in Western India. Marking the first Le Méridien resort in India, the hotel is the brand's ninth property in the country. It is located in the Western Ghats.

Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa has 122 guestrooms and suites, all with private balconies that offer views of the surrounding natural scenery.

For dining, the property has Latest Recipe, an all-day dining restaurant, Chingari, the Indian specialty restaurant, and the poolside restaurant Plunge Bar.

For events, the property has 250 square meters (2,691 square feet) of banqueting space including a ballroom, four versatile meeting rooms and a business center. The outdoor venues also provide spaces for meetings and events.
