Le Méridien Paro, Riverfront opens in the Kingdom of Bhutan

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, opened Le Méridien Paro, Riverfront, the brand’s second hotel in the Kingdom of Bhutan following the opening of Le Méridien Thimphu late last year.

Le Méridien Paro, Riverfront is located on the edge of the Paro River, offering panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas. The hotel has 59 guestrooms and suites, all designed with a classic Bhutanese point of view.

Amenities at the property include a swimming pool, fitness center and the Explore Spa.

Located approximately 10 minutes from Paro International Airport, the only airport in Bhutan, Paro is home to various tourist attractions, including Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) and Ta Dzong, the National Museum.
