Let There Be Light: WAC Lighting unveils Galileo LEDme™ Track Luminaires

The new Galileo LEDme™ Track Luminaires from WAC Lighting use LED technology for a clean look that is also quite eco-friendly.

Inspired by  observatories that can rotate 360 degrees to view the heavens, the Galileo has a smooth, cylindrical body with a hemispherical cap that maintains a clean line no matter what direction it rotates. With a white interior that improves reflection, the Galileo can light up a wide variety of upscale residential and commercial spaces.

Available for use with WAC 120v track lighting systems, the Galileo can be ordered as a spot or flood luminaire with an Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) dimmer. It is available in black, brushed nickel and white finishes, with a light color temperature of either 3000K warm white or 4000K cool white.

Designed for zero landfill statues, the LED technology of the Galileo offers an eco-friendly lighting solution. The fixture exceeds Energy Star requirements by delivering the illumination of a 50 watt halogen lamp for only 12 watts, and the replaceable LED modules have a potential life of 50,000 hours. Since the light beams are free of projected heat or ultraviolet radiation, they are perfect for heat-sensitive or colored merchandise.
