Light up: Hennepin Made’s Parallel Series pendant lights

Hennepin Made launched the Parallel Series, a collection of pendant light fixtures made of handblown glass and spun aluminum. Each light is hand-produced on an artisan scale, with the glass handblown in Hennepin's Minneapolis studio and the spun aluminum sourced from local craftsmen. The components then are hand-fitted to create a light that can be used anywhere. The Parallel Series shapes range from traditional cylinders, spheres, and canisters to more avant-garde teardrops and orbs. The lower handblown glass portion is offered in seven colors including tea, smoke, sapphire, ruby, olive, crystal and bronze; while the spun aluminum top comes in either champagne or dark bronze.

Hennepin Made is an independent glass studio creating lighting and other designs for retailers, architects, designers and consumers.  The studio was founded in Minneapolis in 2011 through the partnership of Joe Limpert and Jackson Schwartz.
