Lorenzo Castillo renovates Room Mate Grace in New York

Room Mate Hotels announced the scheduled reopening in New York of Room Mate Grace this fall following a renovation. The restyled boutique hotel will be the North American flagship of the European hotel group headed by Enrique Sarasola.

Room Mate Grace will be the fourth North American hotel for the brand that also includes the Room Mate Lord Balfour and Room Mate Waldorf Towers in Miami, Florida and Room Mate Valentina in Mexico D.F. The brand increased its footprint in the region with the launch of BeMate.com, an apartment rental service.

Helping out in the renovation is Spanish interior designer Lorenzo Castillo, who worked on other Room Mate hotel properties.
