MANATHAI Surin Phuket eyes November opening

MANATHAI Hotels & Resorts announced the scheduled opening on Nov. 1 in Thailand of MANATHAI Surin Phuket. Located at the edge of the Surin Beach on Phuket's west coast, the 66-room resort will be near Phuket International Airport and will have access to dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

When it opens, MANATHAI Surin Phuket will be the fourth property of the Thai hospitality group, the other three situated in Hua Hin, Khao Lak and Koh Samui.

Thai-influenced design features will be found in the resort. There will be a total of 66 rooms, and each room will have terracotta flooring, local handicrafts and silk fabrics contrasting against dark wood.

The property will similarly have lotus ponds that will be integrated into the resorts' pool and outer areas, which will be enclosed by three-meter-high hedges to ensure privacy for the guests.

Dining venues will include: the pool bar that will offer Thai cuisine and an all day dining restaurant that will also offer cooking classes.
