Grand Hotel Portals Nous will also be environmentally sustainable. Key elements will include a curtain wall system that will allow automated temperature control in the communal areas. There will similarly be a “biospa,” complete with a Turkish bath and sauna, and a sustainable wellness center designed in accordance with sustainable criteria.

When the property opens, it will bring the chain's number of The Grand Collection hotels around the world to 10, and will be the first on the island of Majorca.
