Marina del Rey Marriott completes in-depth renovation

The Marina del Rey (Calif.) Marriott has just completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, it was announced by Misoon Kong, general manager. The renovation encompassed all of the hotel's 370 guest rooms, suites, guestroom corridors and Concierge Lounge.

The accommodations now feature a sleek, contemporary look that reflects the Southern California lifestyle with modern colors and artwork reflective of the beach destinations of Venice and Santa Monica. The renovation includes the replacement of most guestroom furniture as well as new carpeting, chairs, lamps, tables, window coverings, bathroom counter tops and hardware, sink and shower fixtures, and more. Travelers who seek plenty of places to plug in will find lamps and desktop charging stations.

The Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel offers a distinctly modern, yet sophisticated hotel experience. Guests can relax in the inviting lobby or at Glow, an outdoor lounge surrounded by a special blend of water and fire elements. Located just three blocks from Venice Beach and with easy access to Los Angeles area attractions, the hotel includes over 18,000 square feet of flexible function space.
