W Dallas – Victory in downtown Dallas, Texas completed the renovation of all of its 252 guestrooms, including 26 suites; and hotel corridors. Merging the contrasting references of fashion-inspired glitz with traditional Texas accents, the new look is a part of W Hotel’s move to reinvigorate more than 11 of its properties across North America.
The property tapped Houston-based design firm MaRS, Mayfield and Ragni Studio to re-imagine guestrooms now touched with traditional Texas accents. The rooms have textures such as cowhide and snake skin and design accents including lasso sculptures, jewel toned hardware and armadillo skin embellishments. W Dallas restyled all nine rooms, including the 1,323-square-foot Extreme Wow Suite located on the 15th floor overlooking Victory Park and downtown Dallas.
New custom furniture outfits all guestrooms including platform beds, headboards and side tables, sofas, dining and coffee tables and desks, as well as updated sofas and headboards. Each room also had a new W Bed mattress. Custom carpets line the hotel corridors and rooms with a hidden homage to a woman’s silhouette. Décor include custom pillows and throws.
The transformation of W Dallas – Victory is part of a renovation strategy to update the W brand’s North American portfolio.
