Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Canton completes $2.5M overhaul

Alliance Hospitality (AHI), based in Lewis Center, Ohio, announced that the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Canton in Ohio completed an extensive $2.5-million renovation following a fire that closed the property for almost a year.

The renovations and transformations to the three-story property included: a new and larger open lobby with an enlarged breakfast area offering additional guest seating and space for increasing the complimentary breakfast selections; a 24 hour coffee bar; new carpet in all guest corridors; new wall vinyl; and an updated lighting package.

The guestrooms have been upgraded, and all rooms now offer an all new décor, new carpet, lighting, furniture and DreamWell bedding package; as well as a 37 inch flat screen TV in all rooms, while all suites have a 42 inch flat screen TV. Additionally all guestrooms and suites have a microwave oven and mini-refrigerator.


Meanwhile, the hotel has enlarged its fitness center, moved it to the first floor, adjacent to the lobby and features state-of-the-art cardio equipment.

Also featured is a new business center, renovated indoor swimming pool, and expanded guest laundry.

The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Canton is located at 7046 Sunset Strip Ave NW, Canton, OH 44720 and is just 4 miles from the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame. The hotel offers such business conveniences as Guest Business Center, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the entire building, complimentary deluxe breakfast, and includes a fitness center, indoor pool, and contemporary designs and furnishings.
