Minimalist designs: Stand, Felt and Hat by Ex.t

Norm Architects has announced that it created a collection of minimalist designs for Italian bathroom brand Ex.t. The new products include a bathtub, washbasin, a bathroom cabinet, and a pendant lamp. The minimalist pieces are inspired by Scandinavian design tradition and influenced by the atmosphere of northern landscapes.

The “Stand” washbasin and bathtub reinterpret the Modernist style of the 1920s and 1930s. “Felt” is a modular wall unit that can be used to hang small accessories such as towels, bags and scarves. Consisting of a grid-like structure made of painted metal, Felt can be customized with shelves, square or round mirrors and/or storage modules with or without doors. Meanwhile, “Hat” lamp was inspired by old molds that used to model hats.

Ex.t is an Italian design brand for bathroom and home furniture, accessories and lighting. The company’s products are handcrafted in Tuscan family-run workshops and factories.
