Moncur Design, Concept Group help renovate Eaglewood Resort

Eaglewood Resort & Spa, located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, completed a $7.5-million renovation of its AAA Four Diamond Resort. The makeover included a redesign of all 295 guestrooms and suites, resurfaced balconies and patios, a full build-out of three fitness studios, refurbished six-lane bowling alley and the addition of a "Grab & Go" Market.

The guestroom project was designed by Moncur Design Associates, based in Toronto; while the Market was designed by the Bloomingdale-based Concept Group.

The resort's guestrooms and suites have earth tones and geometric furnishings, in line with Eaglewood's traditional Prairie-style design and in homage to architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The makeover included: new carpeting, wall vinyl, draperies, sheers, upholstery, updated furnishings and casegoods and a technology upgrade.
