Multiple brightness: Cherrybomb lighting system by Nilufar gallery

Nilufar gallery launched the Cherrybomb, a new blown glass lighting system by New York-based designer Lindsey Adelman. The Cherrybomb lighting system can be installed as a sconce, ceiling light or in multiples to create an entire room installation.  A frame made from bent brass tubing supports clusters of bright blue or soft pink hand-blown glass globes. The decorative surface of the globes is made by rolling opaque colored glass in 24k gold foil.

Established in 2006, Lindsey Adelman Studio creates customized light pieces comprised of various assemblies of blown glass bulbs. Inspired by the forms found in nature, the studio’s collection includes wall sconces, pendant lamps, table lamps and candelabras.
