Mumford Company closes the sale of the Days Inn of Salem, Virginia

Salem, VA - The Mumford Company was pleased to represent the principals of Dil
Enterprise, Inc. in the sale of the Days Inn of Salem, Virginia to Devkison, LLC. The sale was
facilitated by David Mumford of the Mumford Company’s headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.
The sellers plan to redeploy the proceeds from the sale into other select service hotel acquisitions
in western Virginia.
The purchasers plan to make cosmetic renovations to this 71 room property and continue
to operate under the Days Inn banner.

The hotels, all owned by U.S. OCG, total 499 rooms and together offer more than 93,000 square feet of meeting space.

The China-based conglomerate also acquired the iconic brand's IP assets as part of the £11 million deal, with the brand expected to live on online.
