New colors: Lumina’s FLO light by Foster + Partners

Introducing FLO, the result of a collaboration between British architectural firm Foster + Partners and specialist Italian lighting manufacturer Lumina. The lamp is available for floor or desk use, incorporating dimmable LED technology in a minimalist form using an aluminum frame, balanced by a circular steel base. The frame and the base are connected using a pivoting joint, allowing for the head to be easily rotating for direct task lighting.

FLO was first launched in 2011. Originally available in black or white, the line now includes bright colors with green, blue, orange, yellow and red powder coated options. There are also metallic options with bronze, gunmetal and brushed nickel, for a more subtle finish.

Tommaso Cimini founded Italian lighting company Lumina in 1973. In 2008, it was taken over by son Ettore Cimini.
