German brand Zeitraum has launched the Miut bed. Designed by Julia Fellner, the bed is a streamlined interpretation of the classic box spring bed. It is 100% handmade in Germany, with Miut’s design characterized by strong double seams and turned solid wood feet. The frame, at just 16cm high, is tapered, as is the shape of the headboard, thereby creating a soft, slimming effect. Miut is available with a range of optional extras, including the Miut wall panel and the Miut box shelves, as well as Zeitraum’s Noon lights and Dinat pillows.
Founded in Wolfratshausen near Munich in 1990, Zeitraum create furniture for living areas and the commercial sector.
