NEWH to launch first Annual Sustainable Design and Development Forum Tradeshow

 NEWH (The Hospitality Industry Network) has announced the first annual NEWH Sustainable Design and Development Forum and Tradeshow, which presents a "fresh approach in bringing together innovative, sustainable leaders, ideas, products, design and tangible business results", according to a prepared statement.  The show will be a one-day event on December 9, 2011, and will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC. The tradeshow will feature green products and services only. Booth space is limited but still available.

The speaker roster includes Dr. Judith Heerwagen, program expert, US General Service, Office of Federal High Performance Green Buildings, and author of Biophilic Design: Theory, Research and Practice.

Founded in 1984, NEWH (The Hospitality Industry Network) is an international non-profit organization with 23 chapters.
