Next-gen fabrics: Brentano adds new textures, patterns to Jubilee collection

Brentano launched two additions to its Jubilee collection. Named Dashing, which is an updated plaid, and Arrow, which is the next generation of a graphic chevron, the additions were made as the company observed its 25th anniversary.

Dashing has thick, viscose linen ropes and viscose chenille yarns, along with cotton, polyester and acrylic yarns. The 54-inch check pattern has six colorways. Meanwhile, Arrow overlays Brentano’s felted wool Nomad with large-scale rayon embroidery. At 54 inches, Arrow’s four colorways each coordinate with a Nomad solid; and the embroidery yarns pass 50,000 double rubs (wyzenbeek, cotton duck).

Brentano’s offerings include eco-friendly faux-leather, high-performance upholstery, outdoor and GreenSheild fabric. Husband and wife duo Iris Wang and E-Kwan Chen founded the brand in 1990.
