Oasis Hotels & Resorts to enhance five Cancun properties

Oasis Hotels & Resorts will be launching major enhancements starting this December for its resorts in Cancun. The multi-million dollar investment aims to "create an entirely new resort experience at its properties in Cancun," the company said in a statement.

Both Grand Oasis Cancun and Oasis Cancun will be reinvented as Cancun's only "ultimate all-inclusive entertainment resorts". The Grand Oasis Cancun will feature new food and beverage venues featuring upscale options such as Shula's Steak House, which will open at the resort in February of 2012; and renovated accommodations. The Oasis Cancun, on the other hand, will feature a new Beach Club; renovated accommodations; and new dining options, including three specialty restaurants (Mexican, Italian, sushi), two buffet restaurants, four casual eateries, and four indoor bars and six outdoor bars.

Sens Del Mar, formerly the Grand Oasis Playa, adult-oriented five-star hotel, will have enhancements, including the renovation of all accommodations to feature canopy king-size bed or two double beds, 42-inch flat screen TV with cable service and Pay Per View channels, and an iPod station. Sixty-six new Oasis Loves U VIP Club Suites, which will boast of private plunge pools or whirlpools, will also be added.

Both the Grand Oasis Palm, formerly the Grand Oasis Caribbean, and the Oasis Palm, formerly the Oasis Palm Beach will have enhancements that include the inclusion of new family suites, a new kids club programs, and a gourmet Mexican restaurant.

Oasis Hotels & Resorts operates a total of seven properties in Cancun, including the Grand Oasis Cancun, Oasis Cancun, Sens Del Mar, Grand Oasis Palm, Oasis Palm, Oasis America, and Sens America.
