Outside of New Delhi, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts has opened The Oberoi, Gurgaon, the hotel operator's twelfth property in India and twentieth worldwide. Designed by LTW Designworks, 202 guest rooms and suites, starting at 620 square feet, feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the fountains and pools throughout the property.

At the end of a winding forest driveway, guests will be greeted with a 10,000-square-foot garden wall, meeting the lake below, before a "Jewel Box" of glass and shining stainless steel housing the fifth floor's lobby and the dining and meeting facilities. Overlooking a 36,000 square foot reflecting pool, the building is surrounded left and right, by a residential area on one side and a luxury retail arcade on the other. On the opposite side of the lobby block, two glazed retail pavilions complete the rectangle.
