Oh-so-solid: Radice stools by Mattiazzi

Industrial Facility launched the new Radice stools for Italian manufacturer Mattiazzi. The stools fuse together the front-half of a traditional four-legged stool with a single supporting back leg to create a three-legged hybrid. The Radice stools’ construction is so solid that they are made without the use of screws or any metal fittings. The backrest is small, allowing a coat or handbag to rest on it; and the seat is open for large and small people. The stools are available in ash or oak, and the color options include natural, black, branca green, red and yellow mustard. Optional seat cushions are available in leather or Kvadrat Steelcut Trio. Radice marks the British design studio’s second collaboration with Mattiazzi.
