Ornate pieces: Roi, Fou and Mat by Avenue Road

Avenue Road, the Toronto-based furniture brand, launched three new stools by French designer Christophe Delcourt: Roi, Mat and Fou.  Showcasing French walnut and leather, each of the styles features a different shape, executed in varnished wood, topped with a curved leather seat.

Roi an ornate base, which resembles a chess piece. Fou features a mushroom-shaped base with a cutout. Meanwhile, Mat has a solid base shaped like a gumdrop. The French walnut is highlighted in the base shape.
