pentahotel Luohe to open in China's Henan Province in 2016

Pentahotels was chosen by Henan Guozhiji Real Estate Development Company Limited to manage pentahotel Luohe in China's Henan Province. 

The property is slated to be opened in in 2016, adding to the portfolio of current pentahotels in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and 15 properties in Europe.

pentahotel Luohe will join new China pentahotels in Guiyang and Shenyang, both opening in 2014, as the brand eyes to expand in the country as part of a global growth goal of 80 pentahotels worldwide, in operation or under development by 2020.

The 224-room hotel will be located on the top floors of a 37-story complex including offices, residences and a shopping mall. The 590-foot-high structure is anticipated to be the tallest building in the city and create a new landmark for Luohe.

Luohe has over 8,000 years of history and the reputation for well-preserved traditional arts, including Shahe Melody, one of four genres of classic Chinese Opera, and the Wuyang style of folkloric painting. Multiple historic sites include Bi'an temple which was built in the Northern Song Dynasty (960 AD-1127 AD).

Pentahotels is a neighborhood lifestyle brand. Pentalounge - a combined lobby, reception, bar and café - is a pentahotels hallmark, designed as a gathering place for hotel guests and local patrons alike.
