Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 14 new members to global portfolio

CHICAGO - October 30, 2007 - With sales on behalf of its member hotels and resorts expected to double over last year and strong continued growth in its U.S., Asian and European portfolios, Preferred Hotel Group is poised for a record-breaking year. Contributing to these outstanding results, Preferred Hotels & Resorts has attracted 14 prestigious new members, representing more than 2,600 hotel rooms since May 2007.

"Innovation is a key aspect of our approach to growth and has led to impressive sales results for Preferred Hotel Group and all our member hotels this year," said John Ueberroth, Chairman and CEO, Preferred Hotel Group. "We're pleased by the performance and the attention it has earned from a number of outstanding properties that have selected Preferred Hotels & Resorts as their brand of choice in recent months. The most recent additions to the brand range from landmark properties such as Dallas' newly restored Stoneleigh Hotel, slated for a November reopening, to the spectacular new Lough Erne Golf Resort, which opened this September in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.

"Preferred's new, all-star team brings a fresh perspective to its sales strategies, backed by an intrinsic understanding not just of the luxury market but also of the legacy and individuality that distinguish a truly exceptional, independent hotel.
