Promovalor retains Benjamin West for Sheraton property in Brazil

Promovalor retained Benjamin West to provide furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) purchasing, as well as operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) services for the Sheraton Reserva do Paiva Hotel and Convention Center in Recife, Brazil.

Located a block from the beach, the property will offer 292 rooms, including 21 junior suites and seven deluxe suites, a spa, nearly 4,000 square feet of workout space at the brand’s signature Sheraton Fitness Programmed by Core Performance, a top-floor Sheraton Club Lounge boasting sea views, restaurants and a beach club outfitted with an infinity pool and lounge area.

The hotel also will have more than 9,000 square feet of convention space, including two ballrooms, four function rooms, and additional meeting and exhibition areas that feature high ceilings and access to terraces.

The purchasing of FF&E and OS&E for the Sheraton Reserva do Paiva Hotel and Convention Center will be managed under the direction of Eduardo Cruz, senior project director for Latin America and Caribbean, and is scheduled to open in 2014.
