Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre renovated

Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre hotel reopened following extensive renovations. Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre hotel is an upscale five-star hotel at the heart of Dubai.

The past year witnessed major developments in the property and its services, including the re-launch of the hotel after a renovation project of three years with an investment of AED135 million, launching of the new business and meeting facilities and the commencement of the first “Pullman Resident Artist” initiative in line with the brand’s commitment to contemporary art.

Although the original room space and configuration were kept, the interior design of the property was thoroughly revamped. The room floors were divided into lavender and apple floors. The lavender floors have shades visible from the corridor to the rooms, whereas in the apple floors, greens are present.

The lobby is now more contemporary, with natural daylight streaming through the entire area, and two huge art pieces are displayed to highlighting the contemporary art presence in the hotel. The meetings floor was similarly redesigned using dark woods and brown hues.

Meanwhile, all the food and beverage area were also completely changed.

The hotel also initiated its “Pullman Resident Artist” program, which sees it hosting artists throughout the year. The program gives opportunity for contemporary artists to exhibit at the hotel for a month. This program was inaugurated with contemporary artist Michel Bizet.

For events, Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre hotel has nine meeting rooms spanning over 10,764 square feet. These are furnished with the latest in connectivity technology, modern amenities and breaks.

The property initially opened as a Sofitel Hotel a decade ago, then became a City Centre Hotel managed by Pullman, which was when the three year renovation project took place. After the renovations, the hotel was fully re-branded as Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre.

Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre is located in the Deira district, connected to one of the city’s largest malls. It is close to Dubai International Airport.
