Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration completes $10M makeover

The Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration completed a $10-million transformation of its guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, restaurant, lobby and public spaces. The property is located a half mile from the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The property's all-new guestrooms have a modern design, complete with new bedding, new furnishings with ample storage, new bathrooms, new carpet and window treatments, HDTVs and a dining table. Guests may also enjoy free Internet access, an in-room refrigerator, in-room safe and coffee maker.

The resort's 6,800 square feet of flexible convention, meeting and event space also was also updated with new carpeting, fixtures and wall coverings. Meanwhile, its restaurant, lobby and public spaces have been transformed as part of the year-long enhancement.

The all-new Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration has a lagoon-style pool, heated for the winter, with a 42-foot waterslide winding around a rocky hill, cascading waterfalls, two whirlpools and a children's wading pool. Complimentary seasonal poolside experiences include arts and crafts, and a variety of children's games.

Families may also use two lighted tennis courts, a fitness center, and walking paths amid 20 landscaped acres.

Besides its location near the Walt Disney Resort at 2900 Parkway Boulevard just off Interstate 4, the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration is also across the street from the community of Celebration. The town was designed by The Walt Disney Company.
