Renaissance Hotels continues growth in China

Marriott International has announced the opening of the 340-room Renaissance Guiyang Hotel in China. The hotel is located in Guiyang, Guizhou Province and represents the 15th Renaissance property to open in the country.

Renaissance Guiyang Hotel offers six dining and entertainment options, including the New Dynasty, a classic Cantonese restaurant with 10 private dining rooms; Bai Wei, a casual Chinese restaurant featuring Sichuan and local dishes; BLD, a buffet-style restaurant; and the Chocolate Cake Company, a café located in the hotel lobby. The hotel is also home to two bars - the R Bar located in the lobby; and Vue, a roof top bar located on the 23rd floor offering views of Guiyang.

All 340 guest rooms inclusive of 19 suites are equipped with wireless and High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA), iPod docking stations, flat screen TVs, and other amenities.

The property has 1,230 square meters of banquet space, including a 700-square meter grand ballroom. It also offers six function rooms and one VIP room. Additional amenities at the hotel include a business center, indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center.
