The new style of the Waikiki hotel was described as “retro-chic,” and some original aspects of the property were maintained.

The villa spans two stories above and below the Indian Ocean. Ahmed Saleem was the chief architect and designer of the residence.

The Contreras family demolished and rebuilt a major part of the property, including more than half the rooms and all the public spaces.

The latest La Quinta additions bring the brand’s growing U.S. footprint to nearly 900 hotels.

The funds will be used to pay off an existing loan for a soon-to-be-completed renovation project at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center.

Prestige Hotels and Resorts owns the newly renovated hotel, which offers 70 guestrooms and 17 suites.

The 24 apartments are located in a historic palace conceived by Fondazione Alda Fendi – Esperimenti.

Upon completion of its refurbishment, the hotel will have 91 rooms and suites, a renewed lobby, Vapor restaurant and a lounge area with a terrace.
