Residence Inn by Marriott-Oklahoma City West completes renovation

Oklahoma City – September 1, 2009 – Residence Inn by Marriott-Oklahoma City West has completed its renovation after suffering damage to the property in a January 2008 fire. The hotel re-opened in June 2008 but without its gatehouse, which had to be completely rebuilt. The full renovation includes renovation of its 136 guestrooms and lobby space, transforming the hotel into unique spaces designed to let guests work or relax at their own pace. The new design features contemporary décor, zones to support guest activities of eating, working, and relaxing, the latest in technology, and engaging music and lighting schemes.

“This hotel has served the community in Oklahoma City for the past 30 years,” said Bill Dietz, general manager, Residence Inn-Oklahoma City West. “We are proud to now unveil a modern new gatehouse along with upgraded suites.”

The new guestrooms offer four separate “zones” where guests can live, work, eat and sleep at their own pace.
