RGI International acquires permit to build new Moscow hotel

RGI International reports that an amended project contract has been permitted by The Moscow Government's Urban Development Committee for a 160-room hotel city within the Garden Ring. Renowned Russian architect, Yury Grigoryan, who designed RGI's retail development Tsvetnoy Central Market building, has already created a concept, reports say.  RGI originally planned an office development on the site but this was changed in 2009 in favor of a 3- or 4-star hotel. Construction is expected to take around four years although a more precise timescale will be proved once the project documentation is completed.
