Rosewood Hotels & Resorts names new president

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced that Radha Arora has been appointed president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Radha will assume his new post September 5, 2011. Current president and CEO John M. Scott III plans to step down after leading Rosewood for eight years, in which Rosewood doubled the number of properties under management.

Arora has more than 30 years of luxury hospitality experience and will be responsible for ensuring continuity in Rosewood's service delivery and product offerings at the company's 20 hotels and resorts. Additionally, Arora will lead Rosewood as the company expands globally with a five-year growth plan of doubling the number of properties under management or in development.

Arora joins Rosewood from Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where he was regional vice president and general manager of Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel and was responsible for Four Seasons properties in Bora Bora, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Seattle and Las Vegas.
