Rosewood Siem Reap to open in Cambodia in 2019

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts was appointed by Cambodia-based property developer Vattanac Properties to manage Rosewood Siem Reap, scheduled to open in 2019. It will be the second Rosewood property in Cambodia, following Rosewood Phnom Penh that will open in 2016, also owned by Vattanac Properties. It will also mark Rosewood's ninth hotel management agreement in Asia.

The property will be situated in the heart of Siem Reap, within six kilometers of the Angkor Wat temple complex and UNESCO World Heritage site, with the Royal Gardens, National Museum, Floating Village, Phsar Chas market and other cultural attractions close by.

The property will have Modern Khmer architecture and use indigenous materials. There will be 135 guestrooms with a minimum size of 60 square meters (645 square feet), all with balconies. There will also be 15 standalone villas. All villas will have individual pools and landscaped terraces. The largest three-bedroom villas will have 280-square-meter (3,014-square-foot) interiors. There will also be a freestanding Manor Club villa, a private space with reception and lounge offered exclusively to villa guests.
