Saint Lucia’s Rendezvous Resort unveils $12.5M renovation

Located in Saint Lucia, Rendezvous Resort has announced that the property is undergoing a $12.5 million renovation that already saw significant interior design updates to the property’s Seaside Suites and Verandah Suites, including brand new bathrooms, room layouts, furniture and color schemes.  A new a la carte beachside restaurant, Malabar, will open soon.

Situated on the ground floor, Rendezvous' Seaside Suites allow guests access to decks with views of the beachside pool, the Caribbean Sea, and the property's tropical gardens. With the upgrade, each suite was fitted with new closets, and new furniture, including fine hardwood pieces and a king-sized bed, in addition to a new open bathroom, featuring a bathtub, and dual vanities. Additionally, the suites now feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to the outdoors. The suites outdoor terraces also received new furniture including a sofa and an outdoor cantilever umbrella.

The two-story Verandah Suites, offering views of the on-property gardens, also underwent a full refurbishment, including the addition of an open bathroom and new layouts to the room and veranda. Each bathroom now features porcelain tiles, a freestanding soaking tub, a walk-in shower featuring frameless glass shower doors, and a new vanity.  The room refresh included new Oak closets, a set of sliding doors in lieu of the former windows, a king-sized bed, and bedding and décor in rust, pearl and coral tones. Additionally, the renovation refreshed the 12-foot deep verandas overlooking the island with a love-seat and a coffee table.

Both Seaside and Verandah Suites have such amenities as a mini refrigerator, tea and coffee appliances, and docking station.

Projected to open this autumn is an additional dining option, Malabar, a seaside a la carte restaurant that will be partially surrounded by St. Lucia's greenery. The dining room will rest under an open sail, and its décor will include dining tables and chairs hand crafted from the local Samaan tree and drift wood. The venue will have a maximum capacity of 40.
