Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort completes upgrades

Sandals Resorts International has announced the completion of the makeover of the Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

With the renovation, worth approximately $60 million, the property’s 529 rooms and suites covering the resort's three separate zones, including the Riviera Seaside, Riviera Great House and Riviera Villas have been revamped. The facility now boasts various types of villas including ones with new interior tiling featuring glass and mosaic accents, and new landscaped surrounding gardens. There are also private villas with shared pools, refinished pool decks with new teak patio furniture pieces, and upgraded soft furnishings.

The resort also has a new beachside lounge named the Riviera Beach Club, equipped with white Balinese cabanas, a winding grotto pool, a boardwalk area with a host of fire pits, and an improved multi-storey observation deck with dining spaces and secluded areas for private gatherings.

The Red Lane Spa of the resort has also received a facelift, and now features remodeled plunge pools, Indonesian paneling and coral stone coping, complemented by use of shades.
