Savannah Marriott Riverfront begins a $3.5 million renovation

The Savannah Marriott Riverfront in Savannah, Ga., has begun a $3.5 million renovation to be completed by the end of 2011.

All guest rooms are to be remodeled, and will take on green and brown color palettes. Aesthetic updates to the guest rooms are in store, but no plans have been made to alter the rooms' view of the nearby river, and all current service options at the hotel will be retained.
