Second-largest Cleveland hotel to reflag as a Westin

The Plain Dealer reported that Optima Ventures and Sage Hospitality have closed on a deal to buy the Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre from now defunct Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. The hotel will close next month and be converted into a Westin.

The hotels, all owned by U.S. OCG, total 499 rooms and together offer more than 93,000 square feet of meeting space.
