The Sheraton Kansas City Hotel opens at Crown Center

 The Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, recently opened by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Crown Center Redevelopment Corporation, is set to immediately undergo a $13 million renovation to include all of the Sheraton brand's signature offerings, according to Travel Daily News International,

The 40-story, 730-room hotel, which was built in 1980, is one of more than 60 new hotels and over 25,000 rooms Starwood expects to add to the Sheraton portfolio over the next three years as part of a multi-year strategic expansion plan.
