Sheraton Premier at Tysons Corner unveils multimillion-dollar renovation

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and The JBG Companies completed the historic renovation of the Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner Hotel. Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner Hotel, owned by The JBG Companies and managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, now offers all Sheraton signature brand offerings, including the Sheraton Club Lounge, Sweet Sleeper beds, [email protected] experienced with Microsoft, [email protected] Café and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance.

The recent renovation is the first full overhaul of the property since it was originally built in 1986. The multi-million dollar transformation includes an additional ballroom, re-imagined food and beverage outlets and a redesigned lobby. Guestrooms now feature new furniture, bedding, wall coverings, carpeting, lighting, artwork, window treatments and bathrooms.

The 449 guestrooms and suites incorporate brand new décor, flat screen HD TVs and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed. On the 24th floor, the Sheraton Club Lounge provides views of the Washington DC metro area. A 4,000 square-foot gym offers Sheraton Fitness program by Core Performance. The property also boasts an indoor and outdoor pool.

Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner Hotel offers over 45,000 square feet of event space, including the 7,000 square-foot Tysons Ballroom, two additional ballrooms, three executive boardrooms, and an expanded 5,000 square-foot pre-function space with a three-story glass ceiling atrium. The hotel is equipped with AV, lighting and sound capabilities, as well as extensive bandwidth, video conferencing equipment and interactive digital signage.

In the hotel lobby, the [email protected] experienced with Microsoft features complimentary amenities for guest use, including laptops with fully wired workstations, video chat, Wi-Fi access, newspapers, printing services and HD TV. The [email protected] Café serves beverages, snacks and light offerings for breakfast and lunch. Brix and Ale, the on-site restaurant, is a modern classic pub.

The Sheraton renovation is just the first phase of redevelopment of a 16-acre mixed use community owned by The JBG Companies. This project will include apartments, office space, an array shopping and dining options and a fitness facility. Phase one of the site redevelopment is fully underway.
