Simplicity and comfort: Fritz Hansen’s Fri and Sammen chairs by Jaime Hayón

Spanish designer Jaime Hayón introduced the “Fri” armchair and “Sammen” dining chair for Danish brand Fritz Hansen. Both offerings are part of the Favn, Ro and Analog family.

A natural extension of “Ro”, an armchair which offered a sheltered space for relaxation and reflection, the “Fri” armchair does the opposite, encouraging users to be part of their environment and join in. Meanwhile, “Sammen” is a new dining chair with a straightforward design, with key aspects including wooden legs and padded shell.

Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen’s range of contemporary furniture includes lounge and guest chairs, sofas, tables, lighting and accessories.
