Sofitel announces Pacific expansion with Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

International luxury hotel brand Sofitel announced the opening of its first hotel in Auckland, New Zealand. Formerly trading under the MGallery (Accor) brand, Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour has been transformed into a Sofitel hotel.

The brand’s goal is to be present in all of the world’s major cities, with a goal of 150 hotels by 2015.

Situated on the water in the heart of Auckland, Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is located in Wynyard Quarter, the city's commercial and entertainment precinct.
