Sound absorbent: BuzziSpace’s BuzziShade medium pendant

Belgian brand BuzziSpace introduced a medium-sized version of the BuzziShade. Covered in BuzziFelt - a material made from 100-percent recycled plastic bottles - the lamp’s acoustical diffusing character prevents eavesdroppers from hearing private conversations and reduces external noise levels to a minimum. The BuzziShade is the result of BuzziSpace’s collaboration with the four Belgian furniture designers of Stal Collectief.

BuzziSpace was established in 2007. It designs and manufactures acoustical solutions, including room dividers, wall tiles, booths, partition walls, furniture and lighting. The company works primarily with felt, a material that’s recyclable, sound absorbent and soft.
