Source Outdoor furnishes W Hotel South Beach

Starwood Hotels announced that, when it refreshed the outdoor space of its W South Beach location, the W’s design team turned to Source Outdoor, a Miami-based outdoor furniture manufacturer, and tasked it with the job of creating custom outdoor furniture.

The design team was attracted to the Atlantic chaise lounge, which is lightweight and stackable, therefore ideal for the hotel’s beachfront. When the piece was selected, Source Outdoor worked with the hotel’s design team to customize the Atlantic chaise lounge with sling fabric options that would fall in line with the color scheme specified by the hotel.

The installation included 325 custom pink and 50 white on white Atlantic chaise lounge chairs, which were accented with orange cushions. These Atlantic chaise lounges, selected by the W, are made of a synthetic sling fabric with a powder-coated aluminum frame, are rust resistant, lightweight and stackable. The lounge chairs are also made in the US, and have a lifetime warranty.
