Spire Hospitality renovates Courtyard by Marriott Durham in North Carolina

Spire Hospitality, one of the nation’s leading hotel management companies, announced the completion of an extensive $2 million renovation at Courtyard by Marriott Durham near Duke University/Downtown. Previously acquired by AWH Partners, the ownership entity of Spire Hospitality, Courtyard by Marriott Durham near Duke University/Downtown debuts a new modern look that is said to exude hip luxury.

According to Carrie Meade, director of sales, the complete renovation of the guest rooms, corridors, exterior and lobby now features Courtyard by Marriott’s most up-to-date hotel brand design.

Located near Duke University and Downtown Durham, the 146-room Courtyard by Marriott Durham near Duke University/Downtown boasts fully renovated guest rooms with a modern aesthetic, including new carpet throughout the hotel, newly installed furniture in the King Rooms, and ergonomically designed chairs in the double-guest rooms. Guests now enjoy signature Marriott bedding. Unique wall vinyl embellishes the interior space, while new lighting installations establish a relaxed environment.
