Architectural firm STA Architecture was involved in the development of the property with interior designer Anastassiadis Architects.
Developed by Carvalho Hosken S/A, the nine-story Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro blends contemporary architecture and design with the style and feel of the local Brazilian culture. The property also has sustainable features that contribute to the reduction of energy and water consumption.
When entering the property, guests will be welcomed by 121-foot-high lobby. Local artists contributed to works in the lobby soace, and which connects with an outdoor garden.
The Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro has 298 guestrooms, including executive floor rooms and suites all outfitted with smart LED TVs, radio clock with Bluetooth technology, wireless Internet access, Nespresso coffee makers with complimentary capsules and Malin+Goetz amenities.
