Starwood, King Yuan Da Real Estate open Four Points by Sheraton Bijie in Guizhou Province, China

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and King Yuan Da Real Estate Limited have announced the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Bijie. The entry of the Four Points by Sheraton brand marks the first international branded hotel in Bijie City and the first Four Points property in Guizhou Province.

Four Points by Sheraton now has more than 20 operating hotels throughout Greater China, with plans to double its presence in the coming years.

Four Points by Sheraton Bijie is located in the city's business center on Dongsheng Road (Kaihang Road), across the street from the Qixingguan District Government Offices. The hotel is part of a complex that houses the city's largest shopping mall. It is near Bijie's coach station, and a 25-minute drive from Bijie Feixiong Airport.

Located in Guizhou province in the southwestern part of China, Bijie is a multicultural region with numerous tourist attractions, including Zhijin Cave Scenic Area, one of the karst caves in China; Caohai Lake, the largest plateau freshwater lake in Guizhou; and One-Hundred-Li Azalea Belt, the largest primeval azalea forest in China where some festivals of the Yi and Miao ethnic minorities are held.

The hotel provides guests with dining options including The Eatery, the hotel's signature restaurant and the only international buffet restaurant serving global cuisines in Bijie; and the Lobby Lounge.

Other facilities are slated to open by end-March. For meetings and events, Four Points by Sheraton Bijie will offer 12,841 square feet of function facilities, including a pillarless ballroom and four multifunction rooms. The hotel will also offer a fitness center with 10,764 square feet of space, including a gym, yoga room, sauna, steam room and an indoor heated swimming pool.
